Dr. Szmigiel believes that there is no substitute for healthy, natural teeth. That’s why she offers endodontic treatment (or root canal therapy) to save the natural tooth when possible.
In most cases, root canal therapy is an effective treatment which results in extracting the inner tooth structures, then sealing the resulting gap with a crown to restore health and functionality to the damaged tooth.
